Beta Marine 28 28hp Three Cylinder Heat Exchanger Cooled Marine Diesel Engine Pair Available. Brand New Old Stock. 2009 Build. Zero Hours. Never Installed We have a pair of these Beta 28 engines which were purchased in 2009 for a catamaran build which was sadly never completed due to a bereavement. They are complete with ABV type control panels, extension looms and flexible engine mountings. They were originally ordered as bobtail engines (no gearboxes) so our workshops have fitted a pair of new TMC40 2:1 reduction gearboxes which is what would have been fitted as standard by Beta. As they have been standing for some time, our engineers have test run both engines and both started and performed exactly as they should.
